A collection (I try to keep this updated) with neat controls for Beyond All Reason. The game comes highly recommended btw, it's great fun!
Some notes on notation:
- rmb: right mouse button
- lmb: left mouse button
- space between keys: press in order (e.g. e alt means type e, then hold alt)
Building:
shift: enqueue/build as linealt: build as squarectrl: build straight lines onlyalt+space: issue parallel command (when multiple constructors are selected)e alt+drag: reclaim same (own structures)shift+ctrl: Surround building at cursor with selected buildingspace: insert at front of queueshift+space: insert "smart" (minimize walking time)n: go to next item in queue
Movement
lmb: select, box-select on dragrmb: Move order. Units will shoot while movingrmbon unit: "guard" (protect/follow). Will hunt down units that damage the "protected" unit, repair, help build, etc.f: Attack-move: Move to here but pause walking as long as enemy is in attacking ranget: Repeat move, can be used to repeat almost anythin, e.g. move commands, fight commands, build commands, repair commands, reclaim commands, etc.altwhen set-target on enemy unit will set-target on all units of the type in view, a neat way to target all of one specific unit type in the enemy army
Chat
tilda or caret-up(^) key is used for pings/drawing on the map. I'll call it ping key in the following text:
ping+lmb: drag to draw lines on mapping+rmb: Ping on mapping ping: Ping on map with text (also shows up in chat)
